When is the best time of year to vacation on PEI and rent a cottage?

The age-old question and not an easy one to answer. Certainly, the most popular time of year to visit PEI is in the peak summer months of July and August. These two months have the highest daily temperatures, water temps and daylight. Personally, and we have lived here for our entire lives as have 5 generations before us, we prefer the first two weeks of July. The PEI days are warm, the evenings are long, the air is fresh, and the colors are vibrant. Lots of people prefer the middle of peak season and some just come for the tail end before real life starts back up again.

Below links are daily temperatures for July and August on PEI provided by the Weather Network.

What is the difference between a PEI vacation rental by owner and Your PEI Vacation rental cottages?

All our cottage rentals on PEI are privately owned by real humans. Which makes them “vacation rentals by owner”. We, Your PEI Vacation being a PEI property management company take care of all aspects for them. The owners wanted a property management company to oversee and manage their rental property on PEI. We believe this creates a better experience for both owners and guests visiting our Island.

Do you have any pet friendly PEI cottage rentals? Do you allow Pets?

The short answer is no. Your PEI Vacation restricts pets of any kind. We know, we know Fido is part of the family; we get it. We are dog lovers too… but many of our guests aren’t and we know how hard it is to clean up after a furry friend. Our guest’s enjoyment of our cottage rentals is of the highest importance to us.

Can I bring an extra guest or a blow-up mattress?

No you are not permitted to exceed the max guests count for our cottage rentals. We take great pride in our vacation rentals and carefully set the maximum guest count to best serve our owners and guests. Our goal is to provide a relaxed atmosphere to enjoy your PEI vacation and not cram as many people as possible in our vacation properties. Some exceptions maybe considered in the case of newborns, infants or toddlers. All exceptions should be acknowledged by Melanie.
